There's a reason why this place has 4.5 stars and over 200+ reviews: it's THAT good.
We did the bistecca special for 25 euros per person and not only was it deliciously, it was very filling. Be prepared to spend 2 1/2 hours chilling, laughing, enjoying some wine, and loving on your lady.
What the special came with:
- Each of us received 3 pieces of bruschetta. 1 tomato & olive oil, 1 beef, and 1 chicken pâté.
- each of us got a large piece of steak (cooked medium) & roasted potatoes with pesto. (You can choose that or a salad)
- it came with wine & water
We stayed, digested our tummies, then got the dolce supfera. A chocolate ball filled with marscapone, pistachios, and raspberry sauce. Our waiter told us it was Instagram worthy but he poured the sauce before I was able to snap for the 'gram lol. Either way, it was definitely worth trying! I ordered an espresso to balance the sweetness out.
They were so friendly and sweet that they gave us two complimentary glasses of Limoncello to finish off the night. Strong and delicious!
All of this came out to $65.80 euros -

This place is a must if you are a steak lover, delicious is not enough. I am not a big meat eater but absolutely loved the their version of Steak Florentine. Caution, portion/size for 2 could feed 4 people if you order primi and secondi. The portions are huge but if you don't mind doing a take away, steak still taste amazing even after you heat it over the pan later.
I wouldn't leave Florence without trying their steak.
This place being so popular, I highly recommend calling to make a reservation. It will be difficult to just walk in specially during busy hours. -

I highly recommend this restaurant in Florence. Just a couple of blocks from The Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore in downtown. The place is so good that you need to wait a long time to get a table, especially on the weekends.
I loved the charm and looks (Lady Gaga) of our waitress: Mariam.
The menu is very complete and the 4 preset menus are phenomenal with a high quality dishes at a very affordable price.
I can't wait to go back! -

Wow this place was a great place to go for a special occasion! We decided out of all the places to get the Florentine steak this was the must go place. Upon arriving and checking in the store asked us to wait a few min as they get our table ready. As we waited the host presented us with a nice glass of Prosecco.
We sat closer to the back at a two top and decide to splurge a bit for this dinner. We order a 1.2 kg bistecca alla fiorentina which is perfect dish if you're planning on getting other sides/dishes. We also ordered the cabonara and the seafood risotto with a 1/2 litro of their house red.
We also were given a beef and mushroom crostini, comp on the house. The beef and mushroom was a nice glimpse on what their bolognese would have tasted like.
The steak came out a nice medium rare and with the age of the steak had a nice salty crust on it as well.
The seafood risotto had mussels, octopus and squid. For someone is not a rice person, I stuff my face with this and finished it. Our carbonara was super rich as you know it's made right if the sauce is yellow and not white. -

This is a great Americanized restaurant to get Florentine steak. The menu is easy to read and the food is good-- however, I don't think this is the 100% true experience. Also, don't expect Florentine steak to be buttery soft like American steaks. It's tougher, traditionally cooked rare and is cool when served. Though it's delicious, if we could do it again we'd go to another, more local restaurant. However, if you're tired of navigating Italian on menus, this may be a great place to get a breath of air.
